Happy Holidays, everyone. With the end of spooky season, and us finishing up those Thanksgiving leftovers there has still been much to do in Frostcraft. Snow has begun to fall, and not just in our taiga and snow biomes. With not a moment to spare, Keith was able to finish up their holiday-themed town. Holiday trees decked with presents are placed along the well lit path, and candy canes compliment the festive taiga setting. The Minecraft mod adds a bit of extra snowfall to the area.
We had a soft opening on our holiday-themed world, with two tree lightings this past Wednesday. (One happened at 9:00 AM EST, and another happened around 19:00PM EST.) Seated with other players, we chatted all bundled up as the sun set. This holiday tree was full of shiny baubles and balls. The lights illuminated the snow dusted branches and the ornaments scattered around.
“Its Christmas!” Keith exclaimed as they pulled a lever in the area between the area which we were seated. The surrounding buildings have been lit up, for this eternal night.

While holidays may occupy our minds, Icy is still on schedule for finishing up the things that will take our server out of “beta”. Icy will be paving the way for those who like to go to The End. While nothing is ever 100% done, we shouldn’t have to tweak things too much upon the grand opening. Also, Frostcraft will remain in Minecraft version 1.17 and focusing on just fixing and improving things.
Have you guys heard of Santa Paws?
Legends have it that if you do /warp PostOffice , you could get something on your list? You will need to buy a book and quill (available for $0.50 in the post office) and then drop it in the hopper. Be sure to sign the book, so that Santa Paws can come deliver you a gift. 🙂
